seriously folks...

does anyone actually read this? honestly. i have been waiting and waiting for people to post comments to let me know that i'm not just writing these blogs and sending them out into space.....i even gave you all a topic (what would you have done with my bicycle thief!)....and still nothing. sigh.

if you find yourself able, post a comment and let me know how you're doing. as much as you want to know how i'm doing, that's how much i also want to know what's new with you!

blessings.

Maria!! I read your blog and throughly enjoy it. I'm not great at posting comments! I think you did the right thing by not pressing charges, I mean who knows who else the bike thief knows? You might have gotten yourself into more trouble than it was worth. Keep posting! I enjoy the stories!

Hi Maria!

Cindy passed your blog address to Kristin, who kindly passed it to me, and now I'm posting on a blog for the very first time in my life! Regarding the moral dilemna, I sort of have my own experience in that vein (though not quite the same); I'll email that to you. Instead I'll just write how much I got a kick out of your Cold Day story - talk about a different perspective! Take care and hope all is well :)

I would have testified. I don't think you are going him a favor by letting him think he can get away with stuff.

But then, I suspect you already knew how I'd answer your question.

Maria, of course I read these, I have to find out what life might be like if I am so lucky as to get a practicum in Belize! (Keep your fingers croosed, I still have no new news.)

Bike theif. Hard issue. I don't think I would have pressed charges. Way too little information was known on your part. (What is the court system like there? What would his punishment have been? What is his background story? etc, etc.)

Also, important world news. UNC-Chapel Hill won its 18th women's soccer championship and...
UCSB MEN WON THEIR FIRST!!!!!!!!!
